About

Born of the mighty Coeurl tribe, C'vurihn had and perhaps still has big aspirations to becoming a Nunh recognised by his peers. However... due to the fact that he has little control over his aether, he has gotten into his far number of scraps that he never fully intended. Luck is a fickle thing for C'vurihn, and he struggles rather consistently with balancing several of his desires as well as keeping himself from being too aetherically volatile. In this endeavour to prevent himself from causing too much harm whilst also pursuing the path of becoming a Nunh, C'vurihn has accepted a kind gesture from that of the owner of the Starry Garden, Jaydin Byrd. What this entails for him entirely, he is not quite sure. But given the fact that there there are others more gifted in manipulating and controlling their aether within this Garden, he is more than willing to set aside his personal pride in order to become better... no, to become able at all to control his aether. In his time at the Garden, while there are many things that have startled C'vurihn about the people there, and the busy lifestyle at times, he has been enjoying himself. When he is not setting aside bells on every Iceday and Firesday to study with Manaka in controlling his aether or the aether around him, he has been known to dally in the kitchen. Cooking up meals has been a source of enjoyment, and even a calming point for C'vurihn in not exhibiting any anomalous aetheric outbursts. Due to this, Jaydin has given C'vurihn a job in both tending the bar and cooking for guests. With good outlets, and a regimen in learning how to become better, C'vurihn is also looking to start martial combat training in order to prepare himself for going back home to challenge the Nunh -- his father -- for the title. He wants it more than anything to prove that he is capable and strong, and not just because of the wild aether properties he has exhibited.

Contacts

C'rhespi Khoko :: C'vurihn's younger sister -- well, one of many, but this one comes from the same mother. Vurihn and Rhespi are close to one another, having grown up mostly taught by the same mother and sharing a lot of the same general interests. Though Rhespi does not seem to share Vurihn's same lack of control over aether, she and their mother seem to be some of the only people that have been able to remain relatively safe in regards to Vurihn's unintentional outbursts.Jaydin Byrd :: The owner of the Starry Garden, Jaydin had extended a friendly hand to C'vurihn when they met in Limsa Lominsa. Jaydin had been on a business venture, though one of C'vurihn's aetheric episodes seemed to call her attention. Instead of siding with the Yellowjackets who wanted to get him thrown out of the city's territory, she helped to provide a cover story for C'vurihn and settling down the Yellowjackets as well as some of the locals before escorting Vurihn to the docks. It was there that she said that she was willing to help get him the resources in controlling his aether. Who was C'vurihn to say no?Myrddin Wynn :: Jaydin's husband and co-owner of the Starry Garden, C'vurihn doesn't really know too much about him other than he comes from a rich family in Ul'dah. Though Vurihn has yet to see much or any of this wealth, he seems to find more fascination in Myrddin's whimsical mode of interacting with some of the other Garden staff and patrons that come to visit.Manaka Shimizu :: A very aetherically talented Auri woman, as far as C'vurihn is concerned. Her beauty to him aside, C'vurihn has a respect for Manaka's no nonsense behaviour, and does his best to listen to her. She happens to be one of a few resources that Jaydin had mentioned. Manaka's sharp tongue and sometimes brutal lessons in controlling his aether are a needed course for C'vurihn when no one within his tribe could even come close to teaching him the same things. Thanks to her, C'vurihn has shown signs of growth and change in being able to control his aether.Aside from teaching him how to control his aether, Manaka is also one of the two managers for the Starry Garden. When C'vurihn works, he has to answer to her or Elika should neither Myrddin nor Jaydin be present.Elika Harel ::Yarothgar Korvasch :: A Hrothgar that helps run the bar most of the time at the Starry Garden. C'vurihn has worked with him on occasion, though his first impression feels like it was not quite the best. Not used to working at the Garden at the time since Jaydin put her trust in him to start doing so, there were things C'vurihn did not really know and so had been understandably scolded by Yarothgar.Rinh'zi Beatha :: Another worker at the Garden. More times than not, C'vurihn and Rinh'zi have interacted mostly working the bar more than working the rest of the Garden itself. There are some similarities between the two of them, despite being from different Miqo'te tribe cultures overall.Rina Sabine ::Iwa Ittetsu ::Qara Daznik ::Tandem Chorus ::Monx Torgud ::

Hooks

Coeurl Tribe :: As evident by his title, C'vurihn is from the C (Ka) tribe. He might not be too keen on meeting back up with people from the same tribe as him, but I, the player, wouldn't mind him having more connections with other Miqo'te characters from the same tribe. Whether they are friends, enemies, or whatever!Wild Aether :: Unable to really control his aether, C'vurihn can be a danger to himself and those around him. Those that are willing to help him out are more than appreciated, and those that might even want to observe or experiment on him are also welcome to a degree. No gore, though some harm is fine.Cook You Up a Meal :: C'vurihn works at the Starry Garden in Empyreum (Ward 9, Plot 42 on Mateus). He can sometimes be found working the bar with some of his colleagues, but he has been entrusted with the kitchen at the Garden since when he cooks, he seems to enter a zone where he doesn't showcase too much destructive aether.

Out of Character

Just some stuff to keep in mind for RP! ^_^

  • I am a 21+ RPer. Just so I don't have to update it constantly, I was born February of 1992.

  • I don't play with people that god mod/god mode. If I so much as catch a hint of it, I'm more than happy to drop the RP.

  • I don't share my Discord! Sorry, I'm just a relatively private person. You're more than free to message me in game whenever, though!

  • Just because Vurihn is wanting to be a Nunh doesn't mean that I'm looking for ERP ever! I just want to play with the character idea of wanting to be better than what you currently are and building toward that. Please do not approach me for ERP!

Skills →Strong Sense of Smell ◆◇◇◇◇
Association: Wisdom
C'vurihn's nose is quite refined when it comes to sniffing out things that don't seem right in general, or even oddities in food. This lends itself greatly to being able to recreate dishes and having fun cooking when he can determine what is working and what isn't from a simple sniff.Hardy Body ◆◇◇◇◇
Association: Constitution
Growing accustomed to his own wild aether and random bursts of magic at times, C'vurihn has been hurt by himself the most. Now that he's older, there are some preventative measures that he has taken, but overall, his body is more used to the pain that comes with the random bursts of magic that seem to make themselves known whenever they so choose.Specialties →Wild Aether
Association: Aether
Ever since he was young, there has been something a little off about C'vurihn. Whether he is able to harness the aether within or around him, no one really knows for sure, but what many people do know about him once they get to meet him, is that aetheric anomalies seem to happen out of nowhere. Sometimes they're powerful -- so powerful that they harm him or others around him. Other times, they're small little shows that are more of a party trick than anything else.
